That's Weird

Ok, this sounds kinda weird,

this morning, i was planning to search the web

to see how can i get some tickets to

the arthur's day event which is featuring B.E.P.=D

and the first link i stumbled across is this.

now that's weird, muslims cant attend

the concert because of the organizer.

well, the organizer is none other than Guinness,

the Irish beer brewer.

their reason for this act is because it's

associated with alcohol,

therefore, muslims are barred from it..=.=:

and this is the actual comment from official at the Ministry of Information,

Communication and Culture told The Associated Press.

"Muslims cannot attend. Non-Muslims can go and have fun,"

indirectly, she's saying : Non-Muslims can attend. Muslims cant go and cant have fun"..XD.

Getaway To Ipoh Continues

let's continue with my ipoh trip..=)..

the next day, we had our breakfast at a famous dimsum restaurant,

called the Foo San Dim Sum Restaurant.

the dim sum there are just fabulous,

there's a saying,

" You can never get better Dim Sum Than The Ones in Ipoh"

that's so true..=D..

and you are wondering why there's no photo of it?

well..i forgot to charge my camera before i came out..=.=:

next up is Gua Tempurung,

just to have a sneak preview of what it's like there..

so that next time we could go there when we have the chance..=D

there's quite a lot of activities to be do there,

mountain climbing, cave exploring and such, so next sem break?

that's our next destination..=D..

next up is Temple Guan Yin, this place had a 150 years of history,

the person who look after the place said

that when the japanese army attack our country,

the refugees once seek shelther here..=).

but on the way, my mom went to the house she stayed

sign saying, only proton drivers allowed..XD

do pull over at a rest station if you feel tired,

when i was speeding away in the highway,

something caught my eye.

okay, before you look at it,

imagine a big truck totally stripped out.

with nothing at all, and a chair as the sit of the truck.

get it?XD

that's actually the front of the truck.

after another 1 hour of driving, we are back to KL,

it's easy to know whether you had reached back or not, even

without the roadsigns.

Yup, it's the infamous Federal Highway

now that marks the end of my Ipoh trip..=)

Getaway To Ipoh

Ipoh,

that's the place i went with family last sunday. it was a pretty long

drive to be honest..after around 2 hours of driving, we

finally reached the first place we plan to go.=)

Ipoh Lei Zhang Shi.

it's built in a platform surrounded by mountains,

gave me a tranquil feel just being there..=)

even the car park is surrounded with bamboo trees.

the bidding item, the price for the winning bid is a hefty RM22880.00

the money will go to the fund for expanding the temple's 3rd and 4th floor.=)

the ceremony ended at about 5.30pm,

i was about to starve to death because we havent had lunch yet..=.=:

but before we goin to head for Luncner ( lunch + dinner)..XD..

we are goin to my aunt's house to take a bath first..=)..

after a delightful shower, we headed towards a restaurant near malim nawar,

i forgot what's the name of the restaurant but i remember one thing,

the prawns are so delicious!! it's so delicious in fact

that if it's a crime to eat 5 prawns in one go,

i'll be in the prison right now..lol..

well, i didnt take out my camera during the dinner,

so there's only one pic taken,

ok, now here's a fun fact,

next time when you see a living river prawn is a watertank,

you can diffrentiate whether the prawn is

bred by human, or caught from the river.

alrite, the prawn above is a river prawn caught from the wild,

and the prawn below is bred by human,

the way to diffrentiate is to look at the

claw of the prawn,

a river prawn have a much bigger claw than the bred one.

this is because when a prawn lives in the river,

they are subjected to constant current from the river,

so it have to plant it's claw on the muddy surface to stop itself being

washed downshore.=).

After dinner, we went back to my aunt's house.

and it's still early, so you know what my aunt said is the best thing to do now?

it's yum cha..XD..

so i gave my ex-collegue who's know studying in TARC kampar a call,

me: hey, free to talk?

CH: sure.

me: ok, where are you now? wanna go yumcha a not?

CH: har? i'm in ipoh la bro, wait till i come back first lo.

me: it's ok la, i miss u too much till i came all the way to ipoh d..*laughing*..XD

CH: sure a not?..XD..okok, i'm now in ipoh jusco watching movie, i'll giv u a call when i reach

back my college.

me: haha, ok, i'll see you later. bye

CH: ok, bye.

now that's how we talk..gay style..lol.

the first thing i wanted to say when i reach tarc is..

for god's sake, put some lights on your bicycle!!.

to be frank, it's kinda easy to hit the students who are riding the bikes.=.=

i hope they will realize how dangerous it is..

it's good sometimes to meet up with old friends..=)..

there's so much to talk about,

and he also brought his gf along,

well, all i can say, dont change girlfriend again la..XD..

Murderer Premiere Screening

yesterday night, i head out to e @ the curve with william to watch

the premiere screening of "murderer" starring by Aaron Kwok..=D..was goin to watch with love, but since she was occupied by the same thing almost all college students are - assignments,

i have to find another person to go lo..=P..but nvm, cuz we are goin to watch final

destination next week.=D..

anyways, thanks nuffnang for the tickets..;), this is really a good movie.

the movie start off with sumthing that can really make your

heartbeat increased triple fold..XD..and believe me, there's a lot

more from where that came from..=.=:

in the movie, Aaron kwok stars as Inspector Ling kwong.

the plot of the movie is really twisting..=D..

and he even made a whole lot mistake out of confusion and mind disturbance..

dont want to give you guys any spoiler..=D..

just go and watch the movie when it released..i give it a rating of 8/10..

MUFORS 2009

what does MUFORS stands for?

it's Malaysians Unite for Road Safety.=)

this is basically a campaign about people start pledging bout what driving habit they will change so that malaysia will be a better country to be driving in..=D..not to forget that because of all this annoying driving habits, there's people's lifes being hanging on the thread, even poses threats to all the careful drivers out there =.=..and the MUFORS day will be on the 9th of september 2009..so it's 090909..how cool was that..=D..

so far, there's only 568 pledges made, that's too little, so guys and gals, do click on the link below and start pledging..

yup, i admit i do swear at other drivers occasionally, *not towards their face of course*

Hutan Lipur Jeram Toi Trip

it's 23rd of july 2009, and it's thursday, our class's till 10 and we are all stressed up, so what's the best thing to do in this particular moment?

yup, it's to get ourselves in a road trip towards the nearest waterfall we could find,

that place is called Hutan Lipur Jeram Toi,

god knows why it's called that, but who cares? it have a waterfall!!=D..

so it's time to get a move on!! =D

First we reached a place where i forgot what's called..=.=..

and had yong tau foo from a store which had opened for a period of 50 years..=)

and it tasted really good,

the special about it is nowadays yong tau foo have the meat and tofu portion as 20:80,

but this one is exactly the opposite. =D

so after we had a delicious meal, we hit the mountain roads.=D..

and here's a leon tip of the day,

to truly test your car, a mountain road is the most appropriate

place to test it.

the hard bends to test your brakes, the steep hill to test the torque and bhp of the car. =D..

that is why no car showroom will let you test their cars

in that kind of place.

hills are like lie detector for cars..=)
