A Horrifying Experience

It was a typical morning, nothing special, i woke up at 8, start to wash my cloths, eat an apple, some bread. Then i was thinking, why not i go plane-seeing? maybe i could get some inspiration while looking at the plane passes by.=)..

so i set off, driving at my own pace while listening to the tunes. it was a perfect day and it seems to me that nothing would go wrong. As i drove along, i can already see planes taking off, they look magnificent.=D..

i reached LCCT at around 9.30, so i settled down and wait for a plane to approach for landing, and finally, an Airasia A320 approaches. i quickly snapped a photo..

ya, i know it looks almost the same as the previous post's photo..but this is a better quality one..XD..

It will take some time for the next plane to come, so i sit back in my car and study the aircon course notes. then another MAS 737 approaches, and this is the time when the horrifying experience starts..

mind you, it's not the plane crashes or something, it's what happened on the ground. Suddenly, 2 Polis vans approaches and stopped right infront of me, almost 5 policeman got out from the van, and guess what? they are all armed with weapons, shotguns, machineguns, and handguns at their waist.

The conversation starts like this..
Policeman:P Me: L

P: Selamat pagi, dik, kamu sedang buat apa di sini? sini dilarang berhenti kenderaan.

L: Selamat pagi, hmm, saya sedang menengok kapal terbang, sorry encik, saya akan pergi sekarang.

P: eh, tunggu dulu, saya nak check IC dan lesen kamu.

L: oh..ok..( i think my heart beat now is over the limit) *handover my ic and lesen.

P: kamu datang dari PJ ya, apa hal kamu datang sini pulak?

L: Saya belajar kat Nilai University college, kadang kala saya akan lalu sini untuk tengok kapal terbang.

now all the other policeman are surrounding my car,it's like they dont want me to get away.. then there's another policeman behind contacting the headquarters, checking my car's profile. he kept on repeating :" Whisky Golf Alpha 9226, tolong check kenderaan ini, proton iswara." i was like huh? even policeman uses this kind of codes?..

Well, back to the conversation..

P: ok, semasa kami sedang menunggu report dari HQ, saya nak check kereta kamu, mungkin ada benda haram.

L: ok..(oh man, this is getting worse).

P : ei!..

L: huh?

P: spare tyre kamu tak ada angin la, mesti isi tau?

L: oh, ok..nanti saya akan isi..(scared the hell out of me).

after that, the conversation starts to ease up, quite a number of them starts to smoke, and even the policeman who asked me the questions, told me that there's another place to see airplanes if i wanted to, all i need to do is just go further down the road and and there's a place near the weather tower, it's better there he said..=D..(he turned from a bad cop to a good cop in a fraction of a second..XD..)

After awhile, the report came and the policeman said i can go now, *what a relief* i said thank you and speed my way out of that place..XD..i think that's the fastest time where i reached nilai in just around 15 minutes. lol..so now here am i, typing out my experience here, so readers, do take note and unless you wanted to spend half an hour talking with a bunch of heavy armed policeman, dont parked at that place anymore.=)..

waliauweh... what an experience. But I think the cops have nothing to do. Like bullying kids. What the hell. But as a precaution next time, take a look at blogs like this: http://astherlau.wordpress.com/2007/08/30/what-to-do-if-stopped-by-malaysian-police/

I know it can be intimidating(even for me) but it´s helpful to know the right thing to do in such situations in the future.
