so here's continue from the last post..=)
it's about 12 midnite when i finally reached the hotel
at taipei, being exhausted,
i straight away fall asleep and
when i woke up, i saw this building right outside the window.=)
it's the Taipei 101 tower,
it's kinda like the Petronas Twin Tower
we have in malaysia,
with the shops
and offices inside it..=)
let me show you the place i stay..=)
it's kinda like a cheap place to stay..
and by the looks of the entrance..
it does look so.=.=:
the entrance.
but when you go upstairs, it's
a pretty nice place.=)
let's go in..=)
when you walk in, there's this small hallway
and there will be lots of room inside..=)..
judging from the entrance,
you wouldnt expect the decoration
in it will be this way eh?XD
so let's move on to the trip.
the place we stayed is very near to
the shopping mall called Sogo,
and the stuffs they sell there
is quite reasonably priced actually,
except for the first few shops at the
main entrance.
for example,
this photo below..=)
such a nice combination, a Jaguar XK and Rolex shop,
a good resemblance of luxury..=)
then we heard the locals said there's some good breakfast
shop to stop by,
and so we went.
here's a shop near the Metro One Taipei Station,
and as you would expect, there's a lot of ppl queuing up.=)
it's made like a siew pau,
just with different ingredients.=)
and it's nice..=D
the choices they have.=)
i choose the black pepper with pork pau.=)
a very nice taxi uncle, brought us to a famous
breakfast shop.=)
and guess what car he's driving..=)
yup, it's a lancer. i bet this kind of cars
are lighter on fuel and cheaper to
maintain than our countries faithful
saga iswaras..lol
so here's the place,
remember to stop by if
you are in Taiwan..=D
so many food to choose from..=D
this is...sori, i forgotten..lol.
but it taste sour and doesnt
really suit my taste buds..
so moving on..
this is called brown rice soya bean,
and it's really nice.=)
this is typical soya bean.
and "siew long pau"..=D
my favourite!!
cheap too,
just 80 taiwan dollar,
you cant get that kind of price
in malaysia anymore.=)
stumble across this at the train station,
i guess they all just leave their bikes here
and go to work on train.
what really amazes me is that none
of the bike is locked..=.=:
look at the shear amount of bikes..
and no, i'm not taking a photo
of the lady there.=.=
a one day tourist pass,
250 taiwan dollar with 100 taiwan dollar as deposit,
using this card means u'll have
unlimited usage of the train system for that day.=)
one of the main station.=)
a typical view in every country,
a business man falling asleep in a train.lol
reminds me of spiderman 2,
the scene where he fought with doc oct.XD
next station, now we are going to a miniature
museum..=D
and here we are, after covering some
distance by walking..=.=:
could have bought a cheaper ticket
if i remember to bring my student ID..=.=
a smaller version of the reception counter.=)
does look quite the same except
the lack of the red rope thing..
i took almost 600 photos in this museum,
unfortunately, i do not have the
patience to upload them all..lol..
so do enjoy..=P
all the molds used in this ferris wheel
is destroyed to maintained it's
exquisiteness.
that table over there is the size of a 50 cent coin.
so that's about it..=)..although there's
a lot more photos,
but trust me,
it's much nicer to look at the real thing..=D
i'll end this post with a cute poster i found just
outside the museum..=D
part 3 will come soon.=)
