Sabah Trip Day 1

i had been kinda sick eversince i came back from sabah.

maybe it's because of the lack of sleep and

such..=.=:

but since i'm feeling a bit better now,

i'm going to update my blog..=D..

as you would know,

me and my frens gotten ourselves some

cheap air tickets to Kota Kinabalu.

a trip with return tickets only

cost us RM52..XD..

that's quite a bargain, just look out

for airasia's zero fare promotion..=P..

so back to our trip,

we went to LCCT by 2 taxis,

one advice, dont let the taxi wait for you,

because even if they wait, it cost your money..=.=

by the time we reached the airport,

the fare is already RM50..=.=:

the flight time was 12.50, but to be safe,

we reached the airport at about 11am,

after we checked in, we helped ourselves with

breakfast at old town cafe.

sigh, i dont know whether is it because of

the crowd, the food they prepared is

not that nice..

that's how my chicken hor fun looks like

when they served it to me..

it's kinda cold d, and there's bubble on top that

looks like saliva..=.=:

finally, the gate opened at exactly 12.10 to let us board

the plane.

imagine if the cargo door is moved slightly to

the left,

it will spelled "no one can fly"..XD..

here's the flight detail:

Flight AK5106

depart from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu.

Take Off At 12.50PM.

after the flight continue for

about 20 minutes.

the pilot starts to make an announcement.

Captain : i'm sorry to inform you all this, but due

to some technical problems,

we are heading back to LCCT.

but rest assured, everything is under

control, the view is nice today, so please enjoy it, and

have some refreshment, thank you.

we were all like..=.=:..

we hope we dont get any delays

in our trip, and before we even reach sabah, we are delayed.

The aircraft starts to bank to the left.

shortly afterwards, we reached back at LCCT.

but think on the bright side, we paid RM52, and

we get take off for total of 3 times..XD..

that's quite a bargain again..=P..

after we touched down, the pilot made another announcement,

he said the reason they came back, is because

there's some problem with the flight controls..

and that's a huge problem..=.=

but since they had the best engineers.

the problem should be rectified in no time..=).

the delay had really hit us hard..we even take a photo

in the toilet..lol..

AK5106 Gate Closed..and we are still on ground.

finally, after about 1 hour of waiting, the

aircraft's problem is rectified, and

we could start boarding the plane again.

both aircrafts are being refuelled..=).

and what fuel do they use? petronas.

for better fuel consumptions..lol..

after we board, something cool happened,

the captain came out from the cockpit,

and tell us about the incident just now.

i forgotten most part of his speech,

but here goes :

i'm sorry for the delay just now, the problem that we actually

encounter just now is a computer glitch.

we had a fast meeting with the ground crew,

and we decided to turn back as it is dangerous

to proceed.

because there's too much fuel in the aircraft,

we had to burn the extra fuel by circle around

the sky.

in the end, we did an overweight landing, which

explains the harsh braking just now after touch down.

but everything is fine now as the engineers

had rectify the problem.

the aircraft take off shortly,

and dont worry, as i will fly this plane as smooth as possible.

after about 50 mins in the sky,

we finally leaving the peninsula,

and flying across the sea.=)

after all the delay and such,

i cant help myself but felt hungry,

so i ordered the nasi lemak,

it's quite delicious, not just

something edible.=)..

and this set cost me RM13.00..XD..

finally, we reached the shore of sabah..=D..

and touched down..=D..

i couldnt take any more photos,

as i know i'll be restricted by the ground crew,

so to avoid embarrasment,

it's better to keep away the camera..=)

in the airport, we meet up with our junior tony,

with 2 proton wiras waiting for us..=D..

and off we go to check in to North Borneo Cabin,

the place where i booked the dormitory,

aircon room with 10 beds.

and cost us just RM23 per person..=)

that's what i called budget travelling,

but all of that is going to change later..=.=..

so it's time to get a move on, we had heard that sabah's seafood

is quite nice.

but i think we heard it wrongly..=.=.

i didnt take much photos of the dishes as it wasnt interesting enough..=.=..

the prawns..just boiled with water and

ready to be served.

20 minutes later..lol.

and what's shocking is about to come next..

we were discussing what will be

the total price as the waiter bring us the bill,

"aiya, at most also 150 loe..cant be more than that"

"ya, if over that, we can eat at a grand hotel, with abalone and such lo"

"ya, than everyone prepare 15 bucks first bah.."

and here it is..

RM318.15!!?? we was like what the F**k?

the RM 25 is a plate of kai lan..i could easily ordered that

for RM8 in KL..=.=

it's a total ripped off, we reached sabah in not more than 3 hours,

and we felt as thought we been cheated d..zz.

so one good advice, dont go to place again, just look

at the receipt for the name of the restaurant.

well, next destination after the scrumptious meal.

The Tanjung Aru beaches.

we couldnt go to visit any other places as it was all closed,

sigh, if the flight wasnt delayed..=.=.
