Road Trip 2009 Day 2 ( Part 1 )

waking up to a fresh new day,
with a drizzling weather,
how nice if it's like this everyday..=D..

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

it's 8 in the morning when we woke up..=)
after we had our breakfast at the mamak shop nearby,
we went to the jeti to take the
earliest boat to Pulau Langkawi.=)

waiting for the departure time..

21 minutes to go..

the ticket cost RM46 for the both ways..
kinda expensive..
we would have taken the plane if we werent
having a road trip vacation..=P..

a view from the jeti.=)

walking in, it does look like a plane
when viewed from the side.

looking for our assigned seats.=)

and so we waited..
it's going to be awhile before we reach.

and wait..

finally, some signs of we are going to reach pretty soon..=D.

after we were there, ah hong is waiting for us with his friend,
hmm..i forgot his name d..=.=..

after we had our taxless McValue lunch,
yup, the only place with taxless Mcds..=P
we
head straight to
the LIMA2009 Exhibition hall.

10 bucks per entry.=)

and for those who's interested in
gas turbine engines.
check this out.=D

the exhaust.
red means it's a hot section.

the whole thing.

the turbine section, which will drive the
compressor when the hot gases from
the combustion chamber went pass it.

combustion chamber,
where the air and fuel mixture are ignited.

compressor,
as it's name stated, it's
to compress air for the combustion process..=)

An A380 model, with see thru panels.=D
awesome to have one at home..=P

business class configuration i guess.

Rolls Royce Trent 900

and this is the A350 coded XWB
which means extra wide body.

with see thru panels as well.

this looks like first class.=D

with economy class way at the back.

Charles and Ah Piang.

then it's time for the airshow..=D

before the airshow began, a Fireflyz
ATR-72 is taking off.

everyone is finding a nice spot to be in.
cameras are everywhere.

the exhaust of a jet fighter engine.

and so it began.=D
